As a Product Development Engineer at Raufoss Technology, you’ll collaborate directly with leading global car manufacturers to design and develop advanced suspension components that make vehicles lighter, safer, and more efficient.

In this role, you will take ideas from concept to reality—driving product and process development for aluminum suspension components. From early design studies and quotations to qualification, testing, and continuous improvement in series production, you’ll be part of a team that delivers world-class solutions.

What you’ll do

• Lead product and process development for lightweight aluminum suspension components
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to turn concepts into production-ready solutions
• Contribute to innovation in a high-tech, globally competitive industry

What we’re looking for

• Strong foundation in solid mechanics
• Experience with FEA tools (Abaqus / FE-Safe)
• Knowledge of aluminum materials and properties
• Skilled in CAD tools (NX / Catia)
• Practical understanding of industrialization processes
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
• Proactive, organized, and able to deliver on time
• Willingness to travel and collaborate across international teams

Your background

• MSc in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in product development and mechanics
