Schedule: 12-hour on night shift, from 18h00 to 6h15. (week 1: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday and week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday). Training will be provided on day shift on 8 hrs for few weeks.
Salary: $35.61/h to $40.80/h (increases according to the collective agreement) + shift premiums and applicable qualifications
Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager and part of a team of 14 other electromechanics, your responsibilities will be as follows:
Perform preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of production equipment and their peripherals.
Act as first responder when machines break down and get them back into operation as soon as possible.
Provide ongoing technical support to operations.
Install, modify, repair or change parts of automated devices as needed.
Plan downtime to change certain parts.
Analyze equipment failures, repairs and upgrades.
Interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical plans.
Participate in the improvement of processes and equipment.
Participate in the diagnosis of malfunction and maintenance of tools.
Maintain automated production components, CNC, robots and PLC.
Participate in the maintenance of production tools.
Participate in the implementation of new multidisciplinary team projects.
Complete all the documentation inherent to his workstation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
DEP in electromechanics of automated systems, industrial mechanics or in instrumentation and control
Minimum of 1 year of experience in electromechanics in an automated manufacturing environment
Knowledge:
Good knowledge of hydraulics (essential)
Good mechanical, electrical and automated systems knowledge
Understanding of metal forming processes (asset)
License in electricity (asset)
Comfortable in an environment with strict quality assurance standards (essential)
Have an understanding of geometric dimensional tolerances.
Siemens PLC programming (asset)
Experience with ABB robot and CNC
