Under the supervision of the Global Industrialization Manage, the industrial engineer, passionate about manufacturing, participates in the development of new products by ensuring the manufacturing aspects. He will be an integral part of multidisciplinary project teams involved in product development and will be responsible for the analysis and development of manufacturing strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and costs. He applies his technical knowledge taking into account the customer process, the market, the competitive activities in order to continually balance the capital and operating costs, the technical risks and the commercial viability. He is responsible for managing the physical and informational flow of new product manufacturing processes (during the pre-project, launch development phases) as well as optimizing existing products. He is called upon to deal with customers as well as other Raufoss sites.

Support with the implementation of performance management software (ERP, MES, GMA, Scada, etc.)
Write analysis reports and prepare technical presentations.
Participate in presentations and discussions with the client regarding the project.
About (+/- 5 times a year). May be called for this international trip depending on the projects.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec.
Master’s degree, DESS, Microprogram are an asset.
3 to 5 years of practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
Mastery of the MS office suite and project management software Ms Project, Excel intermediate level to advanced.
Knowledge of risk analysis and machine safety.
General notions of industrial building installation (services).
Knowledge of computer-aided design, automation (an asset).
