Global Compliance Specialist / Supplier Quality Engineer

Summary of responsibilities

Reporting to the Global Quality Manager, the Global SQE / Compliance Specialist is responsible for, but not limited to, monitoring and reporting supplier performance to group quality management, the supplier PPAP process, managing corrective and preventative actions and encouraging continuous improvement in compliance to the company Quality Policy. Responsible for control plan updates as required. Responsible for all quality/cost/logistics improvement issues related to vendors and suppliers of materials, products or services used in development to manufacturing. Assesses potential new suppliers. Initiates and coordinates quality-related data from production, customers and field or process improvement activities and reports these data using statistical techniques.

Lead planning, designing, and implementation of client sustainability programs to define and achieve emission reduction objectives, including net zero goals, setting and validating official Science-Based Targets (SBTi) and other decarbonization pathways. Monitor activities impacted by regulatory requirements related to the organization’s governance and any industry-specific or location-specific laws with regards to applicable compliance requirements, provides sound and well-reasoned advice and support.
