Global Workshop Boosts Raufoss Project Management

During week 38/2025 was held a workshop at Raufoss Norway involving all project managers of Raufoss from Canada, Mexico, China, Norway and France.

As part of our continuous improvement process, our system needs to evolve to support the overall growth of the Raufoss Group, which now operates five plants worldwide, and to address the evolving legal, regulatory, and customer requirements. The aim of this workshop was to review our project management process, identifying its strengths and weaknesses, so that we could pinpoint areas for improvement based on our experience, expertise, and lessons learned. Through these discussions, we conducted a strong review of our guidelines and project management checklists to establish a common standard operating procedure. Following approval and integration into our quality management system, a training program will be implemented for our team members to enable them to manage projects more effectively and efficiently.

In parallel of these exchanges, a plant tour has been organized in order to see production lines (forging, extruform, machining, assembly) in place in our plant in Norway.
