October 21. was the time for the yearly event for all companies in the area of Innlandet community.
Industry award is a highly rated and prestige event where companies meet and nominate teams within their organization in a competition within 5 categories:
- Employee of the year
- Team of the year
- Apprentice of the year
- The best sustainability project of the year
- Innovator of the year
We have nominated 2 projects in the category “The best sustainability project of the year”:
Energy management

New sustainable control arm system(IPAL technology)

Both teams meets several of the main sustainability goals of UN, and show a significant change in the total energy consumption and CO2 footprint.
There were 8 other teams nominated form different companies, so the level of competition was high. All with really good project within collaboration, reduction of CO2, cost reduction and a reduction of waste on the planet.
We won the prize!
This is a great achievement and shows that our new technology is the future for material since and one important piece in our work toward a 0 carb footprint!
The jury, which is form different areas within Norwegian industry, science, politics and universities, underlined in their excitement for this project. This project meet 4 of the UN’s sustainability goal’s and is an excellent prof of how the European industry need to work across functions, universities and operations to be able to meet the CO2 reduction that is happening now!
Neuman Aluminium Raufoss is a proud winner of this price! We are now heading into the next phase in this project to make this technology the game changer.
